Review

Whenever the name of Panchayat series comes to our mind, the first thing that comes to our mind is Phulera village and its strange people, in which this time a little tadka of politics has been added, the people of the village are divided between two groups, between which the life of the village, the people there, their problems, all this keeps the interest in the show. Anyway, those who are fond of Panchayat would know how important this character is in this show.

The series is a perfect combination of emotions but many shows miss a bit but that doesn't mean the show gets spoilt and what all the two candidates do in the village politics to woo the voters is shown with such simplicity that it is fun to watch and the suspense of Pradhanji's secret about who shot at him is also focused on but on the contrary the depth in the story and the content that was there in this season seems a bit less as per the 8 episodes due to which the show drags a bit.

Simple and Characters everyone can connect

Whenever it comes to the Panchayat series, the most important thing that comes to mind is its characters, be it Sachivji (Jitender Kumar), Pradhanji (Raghuveer Yadav), or any other character of this series; anyone can easily connect with them. To be honest, these characters have a huge contribution to the success of the Panchayat series, and meme material lines like " Dekh Raha hain Vinod”  season 4 are also filled with meme material lines. The beauty of the season is that the director maintained the simplicity of the series.

Direction and Other Aspects

Like the earlier 3 Seasons. The season is also directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, and after watching this season, I must say “he lost his way to some extent.” Because the main issue of elections was not so important that a whole season could be made on it, it would have been better if it was kept as a subplot, it would have been better, there would have been less entertainment value in the political angle and if we talk about other things, technically the series is good. BGM. Locations, art design are the same as in the first 3 seasons. Due to which the template of the series remains the same, the dialogues are also good, in which the same Panchayat type of fun is there, which fans will enjoy watching.

Acting Performances

The series is once again led by Jitender Kumar, and he has played the role of the secretary very well. How he has grown accustomed to the village and its problems after fighting with the problems of the village. After that, Raghuvir Yadav and Neena Gupta have also done a good job. The arguments between the two are quite funny and add a different flavour to the series. Faisal Malik as the deputy pradhan is good. It would not be wrong to say that after Jitender Kumar, Raghuvir Yadav, and Neena Gupta, Faisal Malik's character is the most important. Salvika looks very cute in the role of Rinki, and apart from them, everyone else has done their job well.

 Conclusion

To Summarize. Season 4 is the weakest season of the Panchayat series, but it does not disappoint at all. And the fans of Panchayat can enjoy watching it once. However, the show is not bad at all, although the standard has declined somewhat. Nevertheless, it remains enjoyable. The way the flavour of the village and the people have been presented with simplicity is amazing.

Now, to investigate the murder, two Policemen, Baba (Sanjay Dutt) and Bhidu (Jackie Shroff), came. What is the Outcome of this investigation, and ultimately, who is the criminal?

Review

It is the first time a murder mystery has been blended into the Housefull franchise, and this Murder Mystery element should also work. It has been a while since a murder mystery has come from  Bollywood, but Housefull 5 presents a combination of a murder mystery that is thrilling and maintains a constant smile on face as the viewer.  At the same time, the movie has such a big cast, so the balance between the actors is probably the biggest USP of the movie. At the same time, every character has their own style and is funny in a different way. The second good thing that the director has done is to present the story and screenplay in such a way that suspicion falls on every character.

Combination of Thriller and Comedy

Thriller and Comedy are opposite genres to each other, and Tarun Mansukhani presented this combination beautifully. The movie has a bunch of the finest comedians, like Akshay Kumar,  Ritesh Deshmukh, and Shreyas Talpade. The comedy timing of all of them is amazing, with these young stars, the movie also had experienced artists like Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, and Sanjay Dutt, their comedy punches are also good, where they create a nostalgia with the background score of Khalnayak and dialogues like ”Choti Bachhi Ho Kya”? adds an element of spoof in the movie and Nana Patekar’s phugani dance gives an comedy and Abhishek Bachchan’s, Dino Morea, also decent in their limited screen space.

Acting Performance

Akshaya Kumar was at his best when it came to comedy. He is terrific after a long we get to see the Alshaya Kumar we want to see. His comedy timing, punches all were of top quality, his jugalbandi with Ritesh Deshmukh was top notch. After that, other artists like Nana Patekar,  Jackie Shroff, and Sanjay Dutt also justified their presence with their comedy timing. After a long time, we get to see Fardeen Khan. He has a good role in the movie, and he has done well. So, as Abhishek Bachchan and Dino More, and the female leads, including Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa. Nargis Fakri, Soundarya Sharma, and Chitrangada Singh all are used just add glamour to the movie.

 Direction and Other Aspects

Tarun Mansukhani’s Direction is exceptional. It is always difficult to manage such a huge cast, but still, he did a commendable job. He directed a movie after 17 Years, considering that he did a fine job. Production Value is exceptional, the movie is shot on a huge canvas, and the movie looks beautiful on the big screen, and the colour grading is also good. BGM is also fine and supports the theme of the movie

Conclusion

To Summarize. Housefull 5 is a good family entertainer with a blend of comedy and Murder Mystery, adding a different charm to the movie, except that a sincere direction, combined with a good enough contribution from actors, makes Housefull 5 a reasoned family movie this weekend.

Delulu Express Review - Zakir Khan
Show - Delulu Express

 Cast - Zakir Khan

 Creator - Zakir Khan

 Duration - 1 Hour and 34 Minutes

Where To Watch  - Amazon Prime

In recent times, many Indian comedian have brought their stand-up act on digital debut. Now, a new name has been added to this list, that of famous comedian Zakir Khan, who has brought his new show, Delulu Express, to Amazon Prime.

The Rise of Stand-Up Specials in India

One of India's most talented comedians, Zakir Khan, has released a new stand-up show, Delulu Express, in which he makes fun of his personal experiences that started from his Job hunting experience, memorable train journey, problems at the workplace, and romantic angel combined all these to a signifiant amount of humor.

Review: Real, Rural, and Relatable

The best part of the show is the comedian's relatable jokes and extraordinary comic timing. The way he narrates personal incidents like the train journey looks funny and has Zakir Khan's magic. Those who follow all his previous videos, such as Manpasand, Kaksha Gyaravi, will also love this as it provides enough material to maintain a constant smile on the viewer's face. Maybe I could be wrong there is a certain kind of element of ruralness in his jokes that makes it easier to connect with the jokes.

What Worked, What Doesn't

Zakir mainly focuses on small things like the train journey,  where people who want to save stuff keep coming and showing off their skills And the way he has narrated this train journey and the details he has captured about the train environment is amazing. on a vice versa. There are a few jokes that may feel likes his and miss, but this is not such a big deal; it happens in every comedian's case.

The biggest thing is that this show is a true comedy show and that too based only on small anecdotes from life.

On the contrary, if a stand-up to the shortcomings of the show was supposed to end on a high note, it ended completely flat here, and just like that, it's over. Now, because a stand-up comedy show doesn't have a story or a screenplay, stand-up shows are totally dependent on their jokes. In this case, the jokes are a bit average

Ye Kya Bana Diya Ranveer Brar

Show—Ye Kya Bana Diya

Cast—Ranveer Brar and Others

Episodes—5

Duration—12 to 15 Minutes

Where To Watch—Jio Hotstar

Plot Overview

Ye Kya Bana Diya is a comedy show that follows the same pattern as the TV show Masterchef, where a contestant tries to impress with their cooking. In all this, what kind of humor is created? Every time Ranveer Brar gives a reaction to their cooking skills, Chef Ranveer Brar tastes their dishes and “Ye Kya Bana Diya.”

Review

Interesting Premise

The premise of the show was quite interesting to hear that one of the country’s biggest chefs is roasting people for their worst cooking skills, but the makers failed very badly in the execution, as the show is full of flaws. The show tries to go in the roasting genre, and different contestants keep coming and become boring at a certain point. The show neither has a story nor a screenplay, and it completely depends on Ranveer Brar, and not-so-funny reactions become monotonous at a certain point. Every time he tastes a dish from a contestant and asks, “Ye Kya Bana Diya,” it looks very dull on the screen after a certain point.

Boring Conversations

Yes, there are one or two funny conversations of Ranveer Brar with his assistant that will make us smile, but the makers promoted the show as a roasting show, which is completely missing. Just creating weird faces is not roasting at all. For Indians, roasting is incomplete without a beep sound. On the other hand, the contests in the show were also dull and did not support the show either. The show has a simple concept of combining a cooking competition with roasting, but Ranveer Brar looks very decent while roasting contestants and this decency proves to be the biggest drawback of the show, as decency and roasting are two different directions. Combining these two was not a great move by the makers.

Positives

There are also some positive points of the show like it is technically a well-made show and shot and crisp episodes with an average duration of 12 minutes per episode to keep the show crisp and tight with a beautiful and colorful set with a handsome-looking Ranveer Brar, but at the same time, I was asking myself, “Why am I watching this? But it is the makers who have not added enough funny elements to the show. See, this is what happens when you are making a roasting or a spoof kind of content; it has to be a laugh riot. A Spoof or roast is incomplete without laughter in it. The Idea of combining a cooking show with roasting was quite interesting, but it is the execution that was completely led down.

Conclusion

To summarize, Ye Kya Bana Diya is just an average show with an interesting premise and a handsome-looking Ranveer Brar, but the average execution of the show failed to meet the expectations of the audience.
