 Review

Nowadays, whenever we hear about any Army or Navy movie, the first question that comes to the mind of the audience is whether there is any Pakistani angle in it, and thank God, there is no intention of it. This movie focuses on the life of an army officer, where on one side there is his country, and on the other side there is his son. Now, in the process of solving this confusion, what happens in his life is the soul of the story, and due to which the fun of watching the movie doubles. The confusion between a father and an army man is shown very well, and with that, a combination of relationships and doubt is formed in the film, which adds an element of thrill to the story, helping to maintain the pace of the film.

Pacy Story and Screenplay

The story may be simple, but its screenplay is interesting, which is highly focused on a soldier who has to save his country and also take care of his family, but there are many leads in the story, whether it is Prithviraj Sukumar, Kajol, or Ibrahim Ali Khan. The director has kept the screenplay very tight, which is fun to watch. See, the topic of terrorism is not new for Bollywood, but he added a tadka of family drama, which worked well for the film that adding a layer of emotions in the movie despite the story and screenplay character writing also being a shining point of the movie. There are small twists in between that keep the audience engaged.

Acting Performance

This is Ibrahim Ali Khan's second movie after Naadaaniyan, and his acting has improved a lot in this movie, although he doesn't have a big role. Whatever he has done is fine, but I would also like to say that his best work is yet to come. There is no need to tell Kajol how brilliant an actress she is, and she has again delivered a fabulous performance as a mother. Along with her, Prithviraj Sukumaran's work is excellent, and Boman Irani is also in the movie; although he has a small role, he has done a good job.7 All the actors in the supporting cast have done their job well, but again, I am saying that mostly the film revolves around a family - a mother, father, and their son.

Direction and Technical Aspects

Kayoze Irani's direction is good. He has blended a terrorism story and family drama very well. Along with this, a lot of scenes in the film have been shot in Kashmir, so the film is very beautiful to watch on the screen, and the film has been released on OTT, so the production value is good. The background score is also good. There is a little bit of action, but it is fine. Kayoze Irani's direction is good. He has blended a terrorism story and family drama very well. Along with this, a lot of violence in the film has been shot in Kashmir, so the film is very beautiful to look at, and the film has been released on OTT, so the production value is good. The background score is also good. There is some action that is fine. The film is 2 hours and 17 minutes long, so the editing is also good.

Conclusion

To summarize, Sarzameen can be an interesting choice to watch this weekend, offering an amusing blend of family and terrorism. The film is enhanced by an evenly fabulous performance by Kajol and Prithiviraj Sukumaran, and is directed by Kayoze Irani with finesse. This combination makes for an enjoyable one-time watch experience.
