A great rom-com movie, you will get to see a different perspective on self-discovery. The concept of self-discovery is shown in the film by blending a simple and sweet love story.

2 Wake Up Sid -  The story is about Siddharth (Ranbir Kapoor), a spoilt brat from a rich family who has all the luxuries of the world, but an interesting twist comes when his father throws him out of the house after he fails in college and this is where his journey of self-discovery begins.

 

3 Rock On- The story is about some friends who had a rock band many years ago, but how they disbanded the band and what changes came in their lives after that is what is shown in this film. In my opinion, this is one of the most loved Bollywood films made on friendship and music.

 

4 English Vinglish - The story is about a middle-class housewife who is looked down upon by her family because she doesn't know how to speak English, but how she joins an English-speaking course and learns English. In this film, a story with a slightly old-fashioned mindset is shown by combining it with the English language.

 

5 Guru- The story of a small businessman who has big dreams and what sacrifices he makes for these dreams. Another film that teaches that one should never give up in life, that nothing is impossible with sacrifice and hard work. Abhishek Bachchan in one of the best films, and his speech in the climax will give you goosebumps.

6 12^TH Fail - The story of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma. He was from a poor family of Chambal, and how he became an IAS and what the hardships were in his life, this is the story of this film. Those who want to see an inspiring story will not find this a good option.

 

7 Secret Superstar - The story is about a little girl who has a great talent for singing, but her father is against it. But how a video uploaded on YouTube goes viral and changes her life is the story of this film. This film is the story of a family where it is not considered right for women to go out and work.

 

8 Taare Zameen Par - Aamir Khan's movie talks about a sensitive issue like Deluxe, a lovely movie that will make you laugh, cry, and also make you think. That cute little Ishaan will get stuck in your mind in a way that he will never come out. His scared face, his laughter, his crying, all got stuck in the mind of the audience.

10 Zindagi Na Millegi Dobara -  Three friends whose personal lives are disturbed due to personal conflicts came together after so many years for a road trip in Spain.   Where they realise what they want from life. Self-discovery would have rarely been presented in such a different and colourful way, and the way the concept of self-discovery was blended with love and friendship was the special thing about this film, and the beautiful locations of Spain added to the film's charm.

11 Lakshya - The story of a boy whose life is directionless, but how one decision of his changes his life. The film was inspiring. It was an experience to watch a directionless man find a goal and give up everything to achieve it on the big screen. The film's title track will shake you up even if you listen today. The message of the film is that a man needs a goal, and he can do anything.

12 Chhichhore - A movie which will seem like a rom-com movie in which the element of friendship has been given special attention. But among all this, this movie has given special attention to motivation, where a father teaches his son that failure is not the end of life but just a beginning. This movie will make you laugh as well as cry.

13 Super 30 -  Hrithik Roshan Another movie whose story is very inspiring is Super 30. It is based on the Super 30 program started by Anand Kumar, a teacher from Bihar, in which poor children are prepared for IIT for free. The story was not only inspiring but also talked about a hero about whom people of our country did not even know much.
