Mission:
Impossible – The Final Reckoning is the 8th and last Movie in the Mission:
Impossible series. In which IMF Agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) continues his
mission to stop Gabriel from obtaining an AI program known as “The Entity.” Now, what is this AI program? How
dangerous is it for the world? And the film is about how Ethan (Tom Cruise)
will save the world from it.
Review
The template
of the film is the same as all other M.I. movies. There is something dangerous
for the world. The makers tried to sum
up the whole series in this part. But the problem with this part the makers were
initially focused on summing because of which they filled the movie with dialogue-heavy
scenes that make to movie look dull in the first in the first half.
Action
The entire
first half will pass by and there will be no action. Yes, at the end of the
first half, there is a summer scene from where the film will gain some pace but
till then the patience of the audience is tested and there is another highlight
of the scene. There are no dialogues for about 20 minutes and the specialty of
this scene is that even without any dialogue, one does not feel like taking the
eyes off the screen. This scene is amazing.
The plane
scene in the climax, which you must have seen in the trailer as well, in the
name of action, these are the two scenes due to which the M.I series is known,
that action is good, you must have seen the films of the Mission Impossible
series earlier, you have seen really great action in the earlier parts, in
comparison to the previous films, its action is a bit weak because there is not
much action.
Acting
Tom Cruise
played Ethan's role very well. And honestly the whole movie was based on him
but now he has started to look old and I feel that this movie was made in a
hurry. I don't think that Mission Impossible will have any more parts. And
anyway, there is a farewell type scene in the climax which makes it clear that
this is the last movie of this series and the work of the rest of the cast is
also amazing.
Direction
The
direction by Christopher McQuarrie film is not so good because neither the fun
of the Mission: Impossible series is maintained, nor has it been able to
present Tom Cruise properly, and I don't know why it felt like the director's
whole focus was on concluding the series and not making a good film.
Technical
Aspects
Like every
MI movie, this part is also technically excellent. B.G.M. of the series has
that same magic even after so many years, I got the same feeling when I heard it
in the first movie of the series. I was in the seventh grade when the first MI
movie came, and my favorite movie in the series is M.I. 2. I am a fan of Tom
Cruise, and which movie of the Mission: Impossible series is your favourite? Do tell me by
commenting. And where Bollywood has VFX for small things, in such a big series,
VFX is almost negligible.
Conclusion
To summarize.
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning It is an average movie. It is a
little weaker than the previous movies of the franchise but if you are a fan of
the M.I franchise and Tom Cruise, then this is your last chance to watch him in
the M.I franchise.
