Who was equally supported by an ex-cricketer, also Iqbal’s coach, Nasseruddin Shah.  Today, whenever we talk about the Cricket movie that comes to mind is Lagaan. 83, but today’s generation doesn’t know how good a movie was.

 2 Farrari Ki Sawari – A Cute Story of Father-Son relation set against the backdrop of Cricket in which a Father steals Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s Ferrari to fulfill his son’s wish. The way a Father-Son relationship is blended with Cricket makes Farrari Ki Sawari a nice watch for cricket lovers. An extremely heart-touching movie

 

3 Kai Po Che -   One of the most special movies made on Cricket was a screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s book Three Mistakes of My Life. Like Ferrari Ki Sawari, here to a relationship with a backdrop of Cricket. It will be Unfair  If we don’t even mention Kai Po Che when we talk about Cricket movies of Bollywood. This was the Bollywood Debut of Sushant Singh Rajput 

  

4 Dhoni - Many people may not know that in 2012, a Tamil film named Dhoni was made. In which the story of an aspiring cricketer who is a fan of Mahendra was presented. This film was inspired by a  Marathi film, Shikshanacha Aaicha Gho. The movie was directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. Who is himself a popular Marathi actor. 

 

5 Azhar –Another Sports Biopic based on the Indian Cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin. How he got trapped into match fixing, not only that, the movie also covers personal conflicts of a Cricketer’s life, like his marriage.  And the pain of not being able to play 100 Tests. All this was shown very well, and an evenly sincere performance by Emraan Hashmi.

6 Sachin: A Billion Dreams- Showing all the aspects of cricket, professional to personal aspects, showing his interviews with his family members and cricket legends around the world.  It was a good opportunity for fans to hidden facts about the God of Cricket. The documentary provides an extraordinary opportunity to better know their idol. 

 

 

7 Jannat –Another Emraan Hashmi explores the dark world of Match-fixing. The concept of Match Fixing was explored beautifully in the movie. Because very few such films have explored the concept of match fixing,   the movie also had a love track between Emraan Hashmi and Sonal Chauhan. Jannat was a totally different movie when it comes to Indian movies, Sports movies.

8 Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii- A Unique but interesting movie presents a blend of Cricket with magic, where the story follows a kid who gets a Magic Bat that changes his life. The movie is a light-hearted, entertaining sports movie. The movie got hugely popular among Children over time.  As the movie goes into the sports supernatural genre.
