Plot Overview
The movie revolves around Pia (Khushi Kapoor), who tells her parents that she has a boyfriend. Now, to prove this to be true, she takes the help of Arjun (Ibrahim Ali Khan), who goes to meet Piya's parents at her birthday party. What happens next is what this movie is all about.
Review
The movie reminds us of SOTY, and this way, this movie presented the topic is very colourful but the problem with the movie looks too rich and classy Because the way the world looks is: that too is not relatable the presentation neither looks fresh also foccusing on story where a rich girl have all the money of the world that she can buy everything of the world and buy a boyfriend also all these might sound intersting to heard. However, the poorly written screenplay and presentation completely spoiled the movie as it follows the same story, showcasing the complications of rich families where parents have all the material goods but don't have time for their children.
Weak Screenplay
The way the screenplay is written is weak, but all this presented may look like seen and other thing led the movie down the template of the screenplay does's impress like in SOTY is emtirely revolves around Student Of the Year competidition here Arjun is preparing for WDC (World Debate Championship) but thw way this competidition showcases does/t looks impectful, like in the scene Arjun in his competidition but the way that scene show I don't even know when that scene came and when it went looking like director was in some kind of hurry in rapping up the movie.
Flat Climax
The idea of attracting Gen Z by making a youth love story was interesting, but the director failed to execute that, as a result, the movie lacks a wow factor. Combined with the drama part, it lacks gripping in it. For example, Arjun is preparing for WDC, but the journey showcased doesn't create an Impact, and even the WDC event showcase also lacks intensity. Another example can be taken of Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, where the scene Amir Khan defeats Deepak Tijori is still enough to create goosebumps even after three decades of its release. Actually, what happens if one is making a movie revolving around competition or an event climax should be ended on such a high note that it creates a shock value.
Actor's Performances
In Terms of acting, the movie marks the debut of Ibrahim Ali Khan (Son of Saif Ali Khan) and Khushi Kapoor (Daughter of Boney Kapoor); both of them gave an average performance in their debut. Ibrahem Ali Khan looks decent on the screen, but he has to learn a lot as an actor. There wasn't much for either of them to do in this movie. They should choose a better movie or a better one for their Bollywood debut, and even worse usage of supporting cast with capable actors like Sunil Shetty, Dia Mirza, Jugal Hansraj, and Mahima Chaudhary were completely wasted in the movie.
With Ibahem Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor. Nadaaniyaan also marks the debut of Shouna Gautam as a director, and for knowledge, Shouna Gautam also worked as an associate director in movies like Sanju and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, but she doesn't shine in her directorial debut.

To summarize. Nadaaniyaan is a very average attempt to recreate the magic of SOTY, but the director, Shouna Gautam, failed badly as a director to do what Karan Johar did in SOTY.
