Review
The story starts in a simple way focusing on Nimma. A middle-class -Class Punjabi Boy who has big dreams of starting a band but gets trapped in a Drug Cartel all this showcases the first 1 or 2 Episodes shows of clarity of the director's mind in the first episode itself we are introduced to the character of Nimma middle boy wants to achieve something big in life But walking on the wrong road.
Engaging Screenplay
The story has been made several times in Bollywood where the lead character gets astray and goes the wrong way. Despite this, the story keeps viewers glued to their seats with an engaging screenplay. A Story like this has a pattern like a character entering into the world of crime, through his growth, and ultimately his demise. So those who have watched such content a lot can skip this show easily.
Canada Vs Kanneda
On a vise versa. The show is not limited to the Drug Cartel. Another subplot in the series is racism, which can also be noticed in the title of the show "Kenneda," the Punjabi pronunciation of Canada. Slowly, we understand why this word is given the Kannada title, and the reason not only do we understand it, but we also connect with it. The way all these premises showcase is not only intense and entertaining,
Acting performances
In terms of Acting. The show is led by a Punjabi Singer and Parmeesh Verma. Truly shines in his role of Nimma and shows capability as an actor; the way he led the show is phenomenal. There is a certain kind of simplicity in his acting. The portrayal of the role of an innocent Indian who got trapped in a drug cartel and the way he expressed himself shows his versatility as an actor. Alongside him, the show also has Ranveer Shorey in an important role, and I must say this is truly a path-breaking role in his career, despite having limited screen time. Truly shines in the series.
The show also had Arunday Singh in an impactful role. This justifies the presence in the series for those who do not know Arunday Singh has worked in several movies like Aisha, Yeh Saali Zindagi, Jism 2, Main Tera Hero, Mr. X, Mohenjo Daro, and Blackmail. and the show also has Zeeshan Ayub Khan in a pivotal role and left a mark with his presence. And the rest of the cast have given much-needed support to the series.
Technical Aspects
The series is technically well-made as the title tells the show is entirely shot in Canada, and the Cameraman shot Canada beautifully, making the show colorful. And editing is sharp, with all episodes leaving a cliffhanger for the next episode, creating excitement for the next one.
Conclusion
In Conclusion. Kenneda is a well-made show with an exceptional storyline that definitely relates to the Indians settled outside the audience. At the same time, the show could also work as an eye-opener, showcasing the reality of Indians settled abroad, especially for those who have never seen anything like this before
